January is National Blood Donor Month
Did you know one donation can save up to 3 lives? You can be a hero right here in our community.
Due to increased seasonal illnesses during the winter months and inclement weather conditions, donations of blood and platelets decline and demand increases. Millions of people, including cancer patients, organ recipients, and victims of accidents, rely on blood donations.
OneBlood will be onsite at Esplanade by the Islands on Thursday, January 27 from 12 to 5 p.m. To book your timeslot, simply visit www.oneblood.org, click “Donate” in the red box on the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select the “Sponsor Name/Code” option.
