Alcohol Ink Coaster Art Class

Description

This introduction to alcohol inks is ideal for someone who feels artistically challenged or for the more advanced student looking for a new challenge as the design possibilities are endless.

Class fee includes four ceramic 4.5” square tiles, alcohol inks in a variety of colors, gloves, spray varnish, and other needed supplies, as well as demonstration and art instruction. Samples are also provided for visual inspiration.

Participants will learn about the properties and uses of alcohol inks. After the coasters are painted, they are sprayed with a clear varnish (outside) to seal the surface for durability. To complete the project, the instructor, Jenny has already painted the sides and backs of the coasters and added surface protectors.

Please bring a box you can lay the coasters flat without stacking as Jenny will be spray varnishing them; they need to dry and be able to be carried home.
